shuttle service to and from the airport or train station and lots of advice. These two rooms share a common bathroom. This has never been a problem. We are a 10 minute river walk from the heart of Fairbanks. Restaurants and shops are nearby.Hall House: Queen Room. A queen sized bed. King Room. A king sized bed. This is a stand alone house. It lies directly across the street from our main house. It has a living room, kitchen, dining room, outdoor patio, fenced yard and private garage. We fill the cupboard and fridge with foot and you prepare you own breakfast. Bicycles, washer/dryer and advise are included.Studio Apartment: King sized bed and futon. This apartment lies in a separate building but adjacent to our main house. It is totally private, secure and our most popular rental. It has a king sized bed, kitchenette, private bathroom, private entrance and private patio. The bathroom is on the ground floor and the sleeping area and kitchenette are on the 2nd level. There are four spacious windows. We fill the fridge and cupboard with food and you prepare your own breakfast. There is ample parking and privacy. Included is a washer/dryer and bicycles. We are a 10 minute river walk from restaurants, shops and the heart of town.

Our lodge is impeccably placed at the heart of the Kenai Peninsula in the small fishing town of Soldotna, Alaska.We customize packages to suit your needs and please ask for group discounts if you have a large group visiting. Full day fishing trips are from 8-10 hours and half days run 4-6 hours depending on how long it takes you to hook into a monster. All you need to bring is warm layered clothing and a sack lunch. There are several local fish processing businesses for packaging, freezing or smoking, and shipping to your home. Please no fish processing on the Lodge premises.Alaska Lakefront Lodging :Main Lodge (perfect for large groups) – A truly beautiful Alaskan retreat overlooking the waters of Denise Lake, a float plane lake just 3 miles from downtown Soldotna. This custom log home has 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 full baths to accommodate the needs of larger groups of travelers. With vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, large flat screen televisions with satellite programming, an 8-person hot tub, and an amazing view off the upper and lower decks, this is hardly roughing it. The Lodge sleeps 8-12 people, but if the whole house is not needed, the top level may be rented out separately for a reduced price.Bears Den – Enjoy sitting by the gas fireplace in the large living area with vaulted ceilings fully suited for the Alaskan traveler. This is our largest 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that sleeps 2-6 people with a King Bed, futon bunk bed, and an additional futon in the living area. Flat screen TV’s in both the living room and bedroom serve satellite programming. A full size kitchen and an outdoor BBQ can be used to cook your meals if you don’t want to make the 5-minute jaunt into town. Immerse yourself in the surroundings by sitting on the back deck overlooking a beautiful valley or walk out the front door to enjoy the pristine views of the floatplane lake.

Our Alaskan Log Cabin Lodge is conveniently located six miles from Kenai Airport, exactly midway between "Sister Cities" of Kenai and Soldotna. A few short minutes from the World Famous Kenai (Home of the standing World Record King Salmon) and Kasil Rivers. We are also near Seward and Homer, Alaska so our lodge is in the very best location!
Kenai and Soldotna are located in South Central Alaska on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. Kenai lies on the shores of Cook Inlet, at the mouth of the world famous Kenai River. Because of the close proximity to Anchorage, Kenai is easily reached from Anchorage by air or highway. It is a beautiful 2.5 to 3-hour drive about 160 miles (260 kilometers) south of Anchorage along one of the most scenic highways in Alaska. Kenai is easily accessible for all types of vehicles. For air travelers, it’s just a short flight (25 minutes) on a scheduled air carrier to Kenai’s modern airport, the largest on the Kenai Peninsula. Flights leave Anchorage hourly. We have additional log cabins available for larger or separate groups. Please contact us for details. At Caribou Crossing Cabin Adventures, you will be centrally located to Fish for Kings, Reds and Silvers in the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Dig for fresh Razor clams. Troll Kings and fish for Halibut at Homer, Ninilchik and Deep Creek. Experience the Silver Salmon Derby in Seward and Halibut and Rock Fish in Prince William Sound.
We are Alaskans from Nebraska featuring 'friendly Midwestern' service. We love Alaska and love sharing it with our guests. We hand-built the 'Saddle-Notch' log lodge and cabins using local native Spruce logs. Our decks, railings and beams all came from local lumber mills. The construction was a three-year family labor-of-love complete with 'blood, sweat & tears'! The final result is a property we are very proud of and we are eager to share it with you and your family! We moved to Alaska a long way from family and friends and the log cabin lodge rentals seemed a great way to make new friends. We cherish the opportunity to show 'our Alaska' to visitors.
