Hakuba Powder Lodging is located directly between Hakuba Goryu/47 and Happo-One, two of the area's finest resorts. The views from Hakuba Powder Lodging's rooms are some of the best in the valley, and the people who work and stay here create a warm, happy environment. From the front door you can quickly walk to hot springs, convenience stores, grocery stores, bakeries, bars/restaurants and bus stops. Shuttle services: We provide free shuttle services to and from the Hakuba train and bus stations. Shuttle trips to the supermarket are also provided daily. Child-care services:We offer an in-house baby sitter service, hours are from 9am to 4pm. Lounge/ fireplace: Our lounge has a large open fireplace with fantastic views of Happo One, Hakuba Yari, Mt. Shakushi, Mt. Shirouma, Mt. Korenge and Mt. Norikura. We light the fireplace every morning at 6am and keep it going as long as guests are awake. It's a very peaceful place to listen to soft music and enjoy a drink after a day of skiing. Counter Bar: Guests are free to use the counter bar on a mix-your-own basis. Kitchen: Access to large self-service kitchen (fully-equipped, including pots, cutlery, dishes). We have a 400-litre refrigerator for guests. The kitchen is also stocked with salt, pepper and sugar. Nearest supermarket is 10 minutes on foot. Shower Rooms: 2 shower rooms (bathtub and shower). Soap, shampoo, rinse are provided. Game/TV room: We have 3 game systems (Xbox 360, Play station 2, xbox) with a well-stocked selection. There is also a foosball table as well. The TV room has a 54-inch TV, modern DVD player with DIVX, connected to cable-TV. There are also cords provided for guests to hook their lap top computers into the TV. A small wood stove heats the room. Ski/snowboard waxing room: We have all the tools you'll need for a tune, you just need to supply the wax or p-tex. Drying room: There is a large drying room for guest's skis, clothing, laundry, etc. Laundry room: Coin laundry washers and dryers. A large drying room is also available. Internet access: We have high speed wireless internet 100Mbps. We also have 2 computers for guests, the computers are equipped with Skype and MSN Messenger. Free internet and PC use. Parking:Free parking space, capacity up to 10 cars. Snow brushes and scrapers provided to use at the lodge. Rent my personal unit while im in the US. Very nicely decorated. I challenge you to find a nicer unit for the same price. You will enjoy your own personal Washer and dryer within the unit. My villa is with 6 bedroom, 3 bath room, big living room, reading room, kitchen, and big yard with flowers, trees, grapes and vegetables…it is quiet but everything is convenient. I think you can get a remember-able and worthful vacation and much different trip and enjoy the services as following if you stay in my villa: Transportation: (1) Pick up and drop off you to Airport by minibus or car. (2) Be your driver and guide every day. Drive you to the destinations every day, and be your guide. Sightseeing: (1) Qing west tombs: The tombs of Qing dynasty is the largest eco-cultural tourism site, one of the world's cultural heritage. It is 60 kilometers away from my villa. (2) The tunnels for anti-Japan: The tunnels locate in Baoding, it is 70 km from my villa and were built during World War Two. (3) Crossing a big valley reservoir by speedboat: Besides you visit the Qin Great Wall, you can cross a big reservoir and watch some natural images on the cliff by speedboat. (4) Some famous places in downtown: Drive you visit any famous place in downtown if you want. Visitings: (1) Children Villages: One is in Shunyi of Beijing. It has 115 children. The children come from prisoner’s family. Another is Langfang Children's Village (Philip Hyde Foundation). (2) Local Martial Arts schools: Visit martial arts schools and watch Chinese martial arts showing. (3) Local Farmer and citizen familys: Visit ordinary Chinese families in rural and in urban. Activities: (1)Hold party with local children or families and learn Chinese: we can hold a party with local children and families to show some programs. (2) Learn cooking Chinese dishes.
