Hakuba Powder Lodging is located directly between Hakuba Goryu/47 and Happo-One, two of the area's finest resorts. The views from Hakuba Powder Lodging's rooms are some of the best in the valley, and the people who work and stay here create a warm, happy environment. From the front door you can quickly walk to hot springs, convenience stores, grocery stores, bakeries, bars/restaurants and bus stops. Shuttle services: We provide free shuttle services to and from the Hakuba train and bus stations. Shuttle trips to the supermarket are also provided daily. Child-care services:We offer an in-house baby sitter service, hours are from 9am to 4pm. Lounge/ fireplace: Our lounge has a large open fireplace with fantastic views of Happo One, Hakuba Yari, Mt. Shakushi, Mt. Shirouma, Mt. Korenge and Mt. Norikura. We light the fireplace every morning at 6am and keep it going as long as guests are awake. It's a very peaceful place to listen to soft music and enjoy a drink after a day of skiing. Counter Bar: Guests are free to use the counter bar on a mix-your-own basis. Kitchen: Access to large self-service kitchen (fully-equipped, including pots, cutlery, dishes). We have a 400-litre refrigerator for guests. The kitchen is also stocked with salt, pepper and sugar. Nearest supermarket is 10 minutes on foot. Shower Rooms: 2 shower rooms (bathtub and shower). Soap, shampoo, rinse are provided. Game/TV room: We have 3 game systems (Xbox 360, Play station 2, xbox) with a well-stocked selection. There is also a foosball table as well. The TV room has a 54-inch TV, modern DVD player with DIVX, connected to cable-TV. There are also cords provided for guests to hook their lap top computers into the TV. A small wood stove heats the room. Ski/snowboard waxing room: We have all the tools you'll need for a tune, you just need to supply the wax or p-tex. Drying room: There is a large drying room for guest's skis, clothing, laundry, etc. Laundry room: Coin laundry washers and dryers. A large drying room is also available. Internet access: We have high speed wireless internet 100Mbps. We also have 2 computers for guests, the computers are equipped with Skype and MSN Messenger. Free internet and PC use. Parking:Free parking space, capacity up to 10 cars. Snow brushes and scrapers provided to use at the lodge. Hakuba Village: The Village of Hakuba is a visitor's dream. It is a small, breathtakingly beautiful village and home to some of the friendliest locals you'll ever meet. By day Hakuba offers traditional Japanese arts and crafts, ancient temples, local museums, scenic spots as well as great shopping. By night you can eat at fine restaurants and dance the night away to live music. Several natural hot springs (onsen) are available from mid-morning to night. Thanks to the efficient network of shuttle buses and taxis, Hakuba is an exceptionally easy place to get around in and one you will long remember.
