Modern, luxurious, Villa Amedis is ultra comfortable located on the laid back, 'old time friendly' south coast of Jamaica. Amedis is right on the sea in a gated community with its own beach. A great adventure is taking a outboard canoe to Floyds, a quaint bar in the middle of the sea (he dreamt it and went out and built it. Horse riding and the Appleton rum factory/tasting tour, are more of the activities in the area. On the days you decide to stay home, Lounge in the hammocks, snorkel, or fish off the rock. Leary, the house manager will make sure you're well taken care of. Lounge in either pool with refreshments,have the cook do you a BBQ on the grill by the lower patio and just chill. He can make himself understood in English and also has a driver's license and a car, very convenient to go to town and buy groceries. The maid, cleans the house and is a great cook with well proven recipes.
