This Belize vacation paradise is on a stretch of beautiful beach just south of the village of Hopkins. You will have easy access to the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world, and all the attractions in the country. Just beyond your terrace, the white Caribbean sands dissolve into a clear-water world of dolphins, manatee, a variety of starfish, lobster and bright exotic fish. You can swim and snorkel in the warm water (80s year round). The salt content allows you to float effortlessly. Take a nap in a hammock, or lounge in a beach chair to watch iguanas, and listen to the gentle surf. Our friendly, on site property managers will be there to greet you, answer your questions and meet your needs. Finished in 2010 this 2 story house was designed to accommodate from 1 to 4 family groups and 1 to 20 people. PLEASE CONTACT OWNER FOR AVAILABILITY. A couple or small family can choose a spacious Studio (sleeps 4) or a large One Bedroom Suite (sleeps 6). If you need 2 bedrooms, a condo (one whole floor)sleeps 10. A large family group can enjoy the entire house(sleeps 20). The home is nicely finished with locally handcrafted mahogany furniture, granite kitchen counter tops, marble bathroom vanities, and ceramic tile floors inside and out. The colorful décor was purchased from local artisans. All bedrooms have king size pillowtop mattresses, and a futon for sitting / full size bed. All rooms have large windows and French doors, to take in the spectacular ocean view. Sit on your terrace to watch the sun rise, or sip a cool drink. Guests can expect a subtropical climate year round. Belize has a reputation for its relaxed atmosphere, sandy beaches, warm water and friendly people. All Studios and Suites have fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, fans, large flat screen TVs, cable TV, DVD players, and wireless Internet (bring your own laptop). The Suites have a dishwasher, and additional seating. Complimentary 2 person kayaks, bicycles, snorkel equipment and fishing rods. These are shared items and may not always be available. Do some birdwatching, brave a zipline in the jungle, or explore the rain forest on horseback. Travel to one of the dozen well preserved Mayan ruins. Visit the only Jaguar Reserve in the world, or the Belize Zoo, which has animals that are unique to Central America. Take a boat ride down Monkey River to observe crocodiles, manatee, iguanas, and howler monkeys. Experience world class snorkeling and diving, a 45 minute boat ride, just 10-12 miles off shore, at the barrier reef. Go fishing for a half day or a full day, and prepare your fresh catch on the gas grill, or take it to one of the local chefs. Explore the many caves Belize has to offer. Hike to a beautiful waterfall and swim in the refreshing pools below. We can connect you with tour guides, fishing guides and dive masters. Take a stroll down the beach, or a bicycle tour of the area, kayak down the river, or near the shore. There are also golf carts for rent locally. Try your luck at fishing in the canal or near the shore. (Fishing rods provided). Fishing supplies are available at the Marina near by. Spoil yourself with a massage, or visit a full service spa. Hopkins has a reputation of being one of the friendliest villages in Belize. You can mingle with the locals, and experience the culture, join in on a basketball game, or try your skill at windsurfing. You can visit the craft shops, Internet cafes, listen to drumming on Friday nights, and enjoy local foods at very affordable restaurants. Hangout at beachfront bars, barefoot, so you can feel the sand between your toes. In Belize, no shirt, no shoes, no problem.

Playa Palmar is a quiet beach community located 70 Min. to Panama City and the Panama Canal. Our house is located on the beach, with terrific view down the coast and out to sea. There are a number of palm trees to string hammocks and flowering plants are everywhere. The grass lawn keeps the area cool and comfortable. there are a three restaurants within walking distance and a good number with in 10 min. drive. Supermarkets, drugstores, a clinic, and banks are all with in an 8 min. drive to Coranado. El Valle is 40 Min. away for cool mountain hiking and the native market. Check Google Earth, we are at 8degrees 28 Min. 02 Sec. North and 79 degrees 57 min 08 sec. West. House also has two kayaks,two surfboards and two boggieboards. There is a dipping pool to cool off in and enjoy the beauty around you.
