This is a darling little chalet just 17 miles from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We are 1.1 miles up a Forest Service Road, 1/2 way up a mountain with the most beautiful views of the surrounding valley and Yellowstone River than you've probably ever seen. The cabin has all the conveniences of home, yet we are remote and the peace and quiet is to be appreciated. Because we are on a wildlife corridor, in the fall & winter you may see the elk come down in front of the cabin in herds. The deer like to sleep just to the side of the front deck so you can see them clearly. They often graze in the area surrounding the chalet. If you are looking for a place to rest and get away from it all , this is the place for you! A home away from home. Carbela boating/fishing/swimming access is just 5 minutes from the vacation home. Yellowstone Park is just a 20 min. drive and if you want to try out the famous 45th Parallel Hot Springs pools, it is just 10 min. from the north entrance of the Park (also known as Boiling River to the locals). There are two bedrooms with queen beds and comfortable settings upstairs . Both upper bedrooms have their own reading area plus private deck. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds and has some children's toys, puzzles, stuffed animals and doll baby plus a few books.
