L'AMETLLA DE MAR VACATION FARMHOUSE RENTAL. With an 8 x 4 metre pool and a six person Jacuzzi this is the place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Wide terraces give space to stretch out, covered areas give shade and the big built-in barbecue lets you cook and dine al fresco. There's a shower room and loo beside the pool and the area is fenced for younger ones. There are panoramic views across the valley to mountains and the Mediterranean sea.Inside is a spacious lounge wirh exposed wooden beams and stonework. Sky TV (freesky) is available with a quality sound system and DVD player. A range of DVDs is provided. There is a modern kitchen with stainless steel cooker microwave, fridge and freezer and a dining table for 6 as most dining will, no doubt, be out on the terraces.WiFi internet is installed and an internet telephone allows you to make very low cost calls worldwide. Some credit is included and this can be topped up on request. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, each with full size bunk beds and a full bathroom. The property is beside a designated scenic route for walking. The swimming pool is flat bottomed at about 1 meter depth. Next to the pool are a raised terrace with a shower / changing room and loo. At the end of the pool is a terrace with artificial grass leading to the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is set to be cooler during the day and warmer in the evenings and has various jets and bubbles. Next to the jacuzzi is another terrace with a large built-in barbecue and another dining area.The nearest town of el Perello is just 2km from the house with bars, restaurants, banks and supermarket.The Costa Dorada/Tarragona regionA most interesting and varied area of Spain. Within 30 minutes drive are wine producers, golf, water and adventure parks. the Ebro delta hosts a fabulous variety of water birds and the river is home to world renowned fishing. There are castles and caves, Roman cities, prehistoric cave paintings and miles of rugged coatline with countless sandy coves. The larger towns have colourful markets and there is always a fiesta within reach with fireworks and a feast. The problem is choosing from the huge choice of attractions.The L'Ametlla de Mar area'Ametlla de Mar is a traditional fishing port, only recently waking up to the tourist trade. A big fishing fleet and busy auction hall are fascinating while the adjacent marina is filling up with pleasure craft. There are too many restaurants to count offering a 4 course 'menu del dia' at lunchtimes from €8 to a wide range of evening 'a la carte' offerings with fish and seafood predominating. There is regular live entertainment in the squares and children are always welcome, even late into the evening. Scuba diving is on offer and boat trips will take you sightseeing or fishing out into the Med. There are several good golf courses nearby and horse riding, tennis, cycling and walking / hiking are popular here.
