From our cabin you will get a directly view to one of the many inland-waters, the hill Havrefjell and the forest. It is a perfekt place to relax and you can see the wonderful Norwegian-Landscape from every window. The cabin is placed in the neighbourhood to other cabins and it is a short way to the airport Oslo Torp (Ryanair).There are tree sleeping rooms (6 beds)in the cabin. Two beds on the 2. floor are extra long (220 cm). You will find a good furnished sitting-room with a wood-stove and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is one Bath-room with a sauna and one bath-room with extra WC and hand-basin. The big terrace is equipped with 6 seats and a table. Parking lot is in front of the cabin. A purchase of food can be made in the shop in the village Felle (5 km by car).The cabin can be used 12 months a year. The winter starts normally at Christmas time an ends Easter. 40 km cross-country.skiing is starting in the cabin area and a big alpine-skiing-area is to reach in 45 minutes by car (Gautefall). The marvellous coast with the white wooden houses and the maritim flair is to reach in the same time. The spring with awaking nature, with black grouse and other birds an the first green on the trees is starting in May. Spring and summer are charcterized by long and bright days and sthe autmn creates many marvellous colors (indian summer) in the nature with many blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms.

The house is situated on the island "Sollerön" which means the island of the sun. The island is 10x15 km’s large and has a school, supermarket, craft stores, golf course, horseback riding and some restaurants depending on the season. Sollerön is historically known for its early inhabitants of the Vikings and there is a nice trail among the stone heaps (graves) with interesting information about the findings as well as how the Vikings lived. All over Sollerön you see the traditional red wooden houses and the funny chimneys which are very typical for the Dalecarlia area. It is a very pure, quiet, peaceful and friendly area with lots of forests and lakes and you can find places for yourselves or take the opportunity to spend time with the locals if you want. Feel free to use our bikes to explore the island or stroll along the waterfront. You are allowed to walk anywhere in Sweden! (apart from the peoples gardens). Due to a law called "all mans right". In the autumn you can pick blueberries, lingonberries or mushrooms in the forests. The environment in very child friendly and safe, since there is very little traffic. There are several playgrounds and some good slopes to go by sledge “pulka” in wintertime. The house was newly built and has anything you need in a modern home including sauna and fireplace. It is new and fresh and we do not allow smoking indoors or pets. There is also a carport combined with a storage room on the premises, where you among other things will find our bikes and a charcoal grill. A large terrace is overlooking the lake. You can walk right down to the lake to have a swim or preferably walk 200m where there is a small sandy beach and a “bridge”. All over the island there are many places to swim-just choose! The wooden house (100 square meters) contains a fireplace, sauna, fully equipped kitchen and has eight beds in four bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, washing machine, and a nice sauna. The kitchen offers a large dining table, stove with oven, range hood, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. The living room has a large sofa and three armchairs. It is also equipped with color TV, CD player, VCR and DVD-player. It is also possible to relax on the terrace and have a barbecue while enjoying the view over the lake Siljan. The car is easily parked in the carport next to the house. There is a socket in the carport, which enables you to use a heater for your car. Smoking is not permitted indoors and pets are not allowed. Distance to the nearest neighbors is around 10-30 m. Grocery store and post office is about 3 km away. More choice in Mora, 12 km, two bridges to the mainland. The surroundings are very peaceful with wonderful bird song. The plot below is ours and is a city "forests" which the children can play safely in and they can be seen from the many windows of the house. In minutes you can reach Siljan on foot for a swim or a ride with the local steamboat. Golf, horse riding, skiing in the length and down Gesundaberget (5km), crafts, restaurants, empty country, salmon fishing, swimming in Lake Siljan, mushroom picking. Good bus service to Mora. Close to many towns around Lake Siljan, with wide range. Treat yourself to a week or two scenic Sollerön in Siljan. There are activities for the whole family year round. Stay relaxed with all the amenities. f you prefer cross country skiing there are some very nice tracks on Sollerön with wonderful views, but also plenty in Mora and Orsa. It depends of course on the amount of snow. There is so much to see in the villages and small towns around Siljan if you would like to see more. During summer you can even go with a steamboat on Siljan to some of the places!
