THE CLAIM is a gorgeous custom log home located in Valley of the Sun which is one of the more prominent developments in Park County. The home is only 25 minutes from Breckenridge with easy access to Highway 9. The roomy 3 bedroom and 3 bath home is on a wooded property with fabulous vies of the white-capped mountains..Sacramento Creek runs through the property and there is a fishing easement that is accessible. This home has every amenity that you can dream of in addition to the beautiful wooded outdoor area. It is very common to see Moose, Elk, and Deer right on the property.The home has a spacious living area with a wood-burning fireplace open to the dining area and spacious gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and custom cabinetry. This huge kitchen has beautiful views of the mountains and forest. The property is located right on Sacramento Creek. There are 3 bedrooms with a king bed, two twins and a full bed. There are 3 full baths. The m floor hasain a kitchen, large dining room, a spacious living room with TV and lots of movie to choose from (no satellite), and a wood-burning fireplace. Plenty of games and movies are provided for your enjoyment and relaxation. On the lower level, there is a game room with air hockey, a pool table and darts. There is a full bath on this level as well. The master suite has a king size bed with beautiful log furniture. The mountains are behind the home to the North and West.The outdoor area behind the home is a place you will want to spend a lot of time relaxing. There is a great deck with beautiful views of the whit-capped mountains and Sacramento Creek. The property is very wooded and secluded. You will not see any other cabins or structures from the property. There is a gas grill and patio furniture to relax and enjoy the view and wildlife. Moose are frequent visitors to the property!Fairplay and Alma are the activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is often referred to as the Base Camp for all activities some of which include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snow-mobiling, 4-wheeling, ATVing, mine exploring, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. It is a great area to call your Base Camp .

This quaint, historic hotel built in 1922, has 20 guest rooms with private baths. We have a beautiful Brunswick bar and Creole restaurant that will be reopened Fall of 2010. We are only 23 miles from ski areas, Breckenridge, and much more affordable. We have Gold Medal fishing nearby, elk, deer hunting. We have an abundance of sun, wildlife and a relaxed atmosphere here in Fairplay. 65 miles from the Denver airport and a beautiful drive on Hwy 285 to our location on Main Street (Hwy 9) We are on the official route for the TransContinental Bicycle tour also.

Villa Colorado is a luxurious 4 bedroom and 3 bath home on a secluded and wooded lot. It has amazing views and is near Fairplay and Breckenridge.The spacious home has a master suite with a king bed and a 5-piece bath with a retractable skylight for viewing the stars. The master bath has a custom tiled walk-in shower and a very large jetted Jacuzzi tub. There is also a private balcony off the master suite. The master bedroom has a flat screen TV with satellite. There is a second bedroom on the main level with a queen bed and a third bedroom with bunk beds. One bunk bed is a double that sleeps 2 people and the other is a twin. There is a 4th. guest bedroom downstairs which also has a queen bed. All mattresses and linens are brand new and of the best quality!There is a large wrap-around deck on the front of the home with amazing mountain views. The entire property is very peaceful, quiet and secluded. It is a great location just 25 minutes from Breckenridge and 10 minutes from Fairplay. This area has the best of the outdoor activities in the hear of the Colorado Rockies. The home also has all of the amenities inside to make your vacation great. There is satellite TV, a wood-burning stove, a huge game room with a flat screen TV and a wet bar. There is a washer and dryer, dishwasher, disposal, and all of the necessary items such as dishes, pots and pans, and linens to make your stay enjoyable. Quietly tucked away on five acres of tall spruce and pine near Pike National Forest, the cabin offers a peaceful retreat. The space lacks for nothing with a modern, well-appointed kitchen, lots of natural light, and comfortable beds with linens chosen for comfort. All bedrooms have wonderful natural light. The great room has fabulous 2-story windows and cozy seating to enjoy an evening together of games, reading or watching your favorite television show. The great room has a wood-burning stove to sit and relax after a long day of hiking or skiing. Be sure to go out on the big wrap-around porch to view the stars. The home is so secluded that the stars will probably be the brightest you have ever seen. You can even roast marshmallows and make somores by your own private campfire. There is nothing more memorable than a family gathering by the campfire with only the warm fire light and twinkling stars. The cabin is delightfully comfortable, steeped in quiet tranquility, and yet close enough to the towns of Alma (5 miles) and Fairplay (3.5 miles) for that last minute item, shopping or a night out. You'll enjoy exploring both of these mountain towns. The home is also near fishing on the Platte River. You will want to visit Breckenridge which is the World-Class Ski resort that has quaint Victorian architecture. There are many places to dine and shop in the town. There is of course skiing and snow-boarding in the winter and Alpine slides and roller coasters in the summer. You can even take your mountain bike up on a lift and bike down the ski slopes in the summer. There are several local restaurants too like Millonzi's Italian Restaurant in Fairplay, the South Park Saloon in Alma, and the bowling alley in Fairplay where you'll find surprisingly great tasting food! Breckenridge is only 23 miles away and Buena Vista only 37 miles. South central Colorado is home to some of the best nature has to offer, with ample hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, wildlife and wildflowers. The stars on a clear night are not to be missed. The property sits near an open valley with spectacular views of the Mosquito Range Mountains. It is a perfect spot for your mountain getaway with plenty of private space, quiet, sunny mornings and proximity to all that Park, Summit and Chaffee Counties have to offer to the outdoor adventurer.
