RETHYMNO VACATION VILLA RENTAL DESCRIPTION Situated 1 km away from Kaloniktis village in the Prefecture of Rethymno, Villa Stratos is a traditional residence built with stone, wood and tile, and extended in 10.000m2 in a green clad olive grove on the hillside.
The breathtaking view from Villa Stratos to green hills and a small river, the big yards and the impressive gardens with various sorts of palm trees, vine arbours, flowers and local herbs, as well as the private swimming pool with hydro massage and fountain, the wooden oven, the traditional fireplace and the plain design, make Stratos residence an ideal place to stay, in order to enjoy unforgettable holidays every season of the year!
Villa Stators is 140m2, settled with luxurious Cretan marbles and built in two levels. In the unified area of the ground floor there is a living room with traditional fireplace and satellite TV, dining-room, a full-equipped kitchen, and a bath.
The inner marble ladder leads to the first floor of Villa Stratos, with three wooden-ceiling- and air conditioned bedrooms (one room with double bed and two rooms with two single beds) and a marble bathroom with bath tub. All bedrooms have balconies, which lead to the spacious private place with the swimming pool.
Villa Stators private swimming pool (4,5 x 9 m) and children pool (2,3 x 2,3 m) are 1,30-1,50m and 70cm deep. In the area around the pool, you can find many sorts of palm trees, fruit-bearing trees and flowers, as well as umbrellas, deck-chairs, towels and a shower.
Villa Stratos’s garden has a private kiosk with two stands and a table surrounded by vine arbours and a variety of flowers. This relaxing part of the Villa has also a barbeque place and a wooden oven where fresh bread and traditional dishes can be baked.
Villa Stators is a private area, with an individual parking place, enclosed by rare-stoned fence and an automatic door. The bedrooms include air condition and central heating, and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Stratos Villas are located 1km away from Kaloniktis village, 12km from the beautiful city of Rethymno, 7km from the northern coast and the Cretan Sea, 23km from the southern coast and the Libyc Sea, 98km from the Heraklion international airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” and 66km from Chania international airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis”.
On the national road from Heraklion to Rethymno, you turn left at the crossroad just outside Rethymno, heading towards Atsipopoulo village. Following this direction, you will pass through the villages Atsipopoulo, Prines, Gonia and Agios Andreas. A sign of Stratos Villas 2km after Agios Andreas will guide you to turn left. Stratos Villas are located just 800m away from this point.
