This unique and beautiful house is situated on stunning coastline with world class surf breaks in an established private gated community with 24 hour security; there is also a beautiful beach club with sea water swimming pools, lounging pools, and restaurant. Within the residencia, this property has one of the best ocean / sunset views. It catches the ocean breezes, and is only a 3 minute walk from the private beach which is great for swimming, body boarding, and snorkeling. The Pacific Ocean here stays a lovely 84 degrees year round.
The Mediterranean style house is a gem. Perched 300 feet above the ocean on 1/3 acre of terraced tropical gardens, it accommodates 6 people in 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen with gourmet appliances, and lots of living space. Nap in a hammock in the shade of the poolside palappa, or cool off in the sparkling pool, which has built in seating around a shaded cocktail table. Wild birds abound, and the night sky is filled with stars.
The property is located at the end of a cul de sac, with parking under a giant mango tree for 4 cars. It has its own gatehouse, is very quiet, private, secluded, and safe. Cell phone reception is excellent. There is no cable tv, but we keep a collection of dvd movies for your enjoyment.
Surfers will enjoy world class surf breaks at El Sunzal and El Zonte, as well as Punta Roca, all minutes away. Leave San Francisco or Los Angeles on the overnight and be surfing before breakfast or New York on the 8:00 am, and surf after lunch. The house keeps 4 body boards for free use of visitors. Get private surfing lessons at El Tunco.
Also within minutes of the property are several lovely new restaurants / clubs / resorts, which offer world class dining / live music / dancing.
11 miles away, La Libertad has a new “ Super Selectos”, a large, modern supermarket chain with produce, meats, wine and liquor, etc, which accepts all major credit cards. Local gas stations also accept credit cards.
El Salvador has not yet been “discovered”, but has many advantages as a holiday destination. The dollar is now the official currency, the highways are well maintained, and the airport is modern / convenient. (40 minutes away). The capital city of San Salvador, also 40 minutes away, has international quality shopping.

AMENITIES
Our caretaker / gardener Manuel will meet you when you arrive, and carry your luggage up to the house. He will show you around and give you keys. Should anything arise during your stay, Manuel is very helpful. ( tip - have Manuel point out the Torogoz which are always around - they are the national bird of El Salvador, they are endangered, but doing very well in the residencia. Coffee lovers - we have a very good grinder and coffee machine, so bring your gourmet beans! The 4 burner Dynasty stove is restaurant grade, the DCS oven is convection / bake capable.
