RENTAL DESCRIPTION
OceanSong is a classic house right on the most beautiful beach in the Abacos. Open to the breeze, this is barefoot living with fantastic swimming on your own private beach. Full renovated, with quality beds for 8. Large decks and side porch around the house provide shade for lunch, yoga or a nap. Kitchen and bathrooms are functional & pretty.
Upstairs has a loft with two bedrooms with great ocean views, King and Queen, separated by beach-style curtains, and small bathroom between. The sleeping deck is ideal for stargazing. Air conditioning is ready when needed, or let the ocean breeze and fans keep you cool. Entertainment includes a screen (no TV) to play a collection of DVDs, Ipod dock, and guitar. Wireless Internet access is on a pay per use system. Generator (manual start) is there for power outages. A well landscaped private yard with classical sculptures adds more unique flavor to OceanSong.
Start your day with yoga, a beach walk, a swim, fresh fruit, dance to sensual music & funny Bahamian ballads, sing around a campfire on the beach, while awestruck at the rich Milky Way above. Enjoy our library of healing, new age, personal growth books and feel at peace, and let the ocean breeze caress and cleanse until you are deeply restored, satisfied, and promising yourself to return again.
After swimming, sunning, walking to the end of the beach and exploring the reef, you can rent a bike or a golf cart and visit the rest of the island, drive to Baker's Bay, the luxury resort to the north, for a lunch. The best family outing is going snorkeling and diving with the local dive master to the beautiful sea preserve of Fowl Cay, only a 15mn ride. The reef here is the third largest barrier reef in the world and it is a wonder not to be missed, attracting divers from all over the world. 3 island Restaurants include world famous Nippers on the ocean not too far from OceanSong & Grabbers on the sea of Abaco for sunset.
