One and two bedroom apartments available in Qawra, footsteps away from the touristic promenade. Our apartments are only recently built with brand new furniture. They have a lift with access to all floors. Each apartment is well equipped with a kitchenette / living room, private bathroom, TV, FREE basic WIFI and air conditioning (central heating/ cooling). A washing machine is also available in each apartment. All apartments have a small balcony at the back and in the two bedroom apartments one finds a spacious balcony on the front overlooking country views. Bus Stop, butcher shop, grocer and a stationery shop are all within walking distance. All other amenities can be found within 10 minutes walking distance.

Our holiday home is a 450 year old house in the centre of Vittoriosa, once the capital of Malta and it's oldest city. The house has been restored to its original stone, and has been completely renovated inside to accommodate 6 people comfortably.Vittoriosa, (Il-Birgu) is situated on the southern side of the Grand Harbour . It is not a night life area,but many tourist visit the city so this holiday home will not suit everyone, as you will be living among the locals; we believe the only way to see the true Maltese way of life. With its narrow streets, and quaint overhanging balconies, it is an ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas although as it is renowned for its historical interests many people visit.Vittoriosa, (Il-Birgu), once the old capital of Malta, is situated on the southern side of the Grand Harbour . Malta is a small Island which offers accessible activities: scuba diving, parascending, sailing, boat trips, water park including a chance to swim with the dolphins! There are numerous museums around the Island including several in Vittoriosa. Although we recommend a car the bus service is inexpensive and covers most of the Island. Vittoriosa`s narrow streets, and quaint overhanging balconies is an ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas.The house is in a narrow street, (just wide enough for a small lorry), directly opposite the Auberge de France, where the Knights of St John resided during the 14th Century. This, and the other Auberges, around Vittoriosa, are visited by tourists from all over the world. Local places of interest are: The Maritime Museum, Fort Rinella, The Church of St Lawrence, and a MUST, on a Tuesday morning, is a visit to the Vittoriosa market - the biggest market on the island, for those cheap bargains.For leisure, there are the various restaurants where you may sit outside and enjoy a meal or a drink. And for those feeling extravagant, there is a Casino down on the waterfront!

Gozo has lots of historical places of interest to visit. Ggantija temples they pre date the pyramids of Egypt, erected 3600 bc. also Nino Grotto a cave with stalactites & stalagmites (in Xargha). The Cathedral in the Citadel next to the archaeological museum & folklore museum (in Victoria). Xlendi :Xlendi is a small fishing village situated in the South West part of the island of Gozo. It is surrounded by the villages of Munxar, Fontana and Kercem. Sheltered by breathtaking cliffs and a valley that leads to the sea, Xlendi is an admirably scenic bay. Xlendi is well-known for the pebbly beach which is good for swimming and sunbathing and it is also sought by many for unique and impressive diving sites that have a highly clear visibility. Many restaurants surround the bay offering the tourist a taste of local fresh fish and traditional food. Another unique feature of the area of Xlendi is the extensive countryside where one can walk along the winding rocky paths to get to the centre of Xlendi.Numerous caves enclose the sides of the bay. One of the most known and visited caves is the cave called Ta’ Karolina which rests on the right cliffs of Xlendi. The cave is named after Caroline Cauchi, a wealthy lady who used to own the cave. The secluded Ta’ Karolina cave is accessible by stairs leading from the bay, over the cliffs and down to the cave where one can also swim in deeper water. Another cave is that called Catherine of Siena Cave which is further away from the bay, also on the right side. This cave has strikingly clear blue waters. A church had been built above the cave by locals in the 1600’s and the cave is named after the saint to which the church was dedicated.Even though Xlendi is a tiny village, it still has its own village “festa” every first Sunday of September, dedicated to the patron saint. This “festa” is very popular with locals and tourists for the traditional water games that are organised. On the left side of Xlendi bay there is also another small valley. This valley, called Il-Kantra, is quite deep and it is inhabited by many types of flora and fauna since there is minimal human interference.

On entering through the common entrance you have a spacious hall leading to 2 bedrooms on your right (1 double and the other has 2 single beds in bunk bed style - these beds can be re- arranged as two separate single beds). The bedrooms are spacious and equipped with wardrobes, dressing table etc. In between the bedrooms is the bathroom which has a full size bath and shower, washbasin and neat towel storage shelving. A washing machine is available here. The living area comprises of a sofa that opens up as an extra bed , ideal when the two bedrooms are occupied. There is a TV with local channels, of which some English programs are often shown during the day.The open plan kitchen and dining area is adjacent to the living area, stylish in design creating a welcoming warm feeling to make you feel at home. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances for your self catering requirements during your holiday in malta. A long terrace is accessible from the living area.The village of Marsascala Malta is an old fishing village, you will find two beaches and restaurants in the main area. Other towns and villages are not far away as Malta is a small island , however we always recommend hiring a car if you want to get around more freely. On the other hand a bus stop is only a few minutes walk, which takes you to Valletta ( Capital city) from there you can take another bus to any other town or village on the island.

Bath and beach towels were provided and these are changed once every week along with the bedding if staying over 7 days. A nice, quiet apartment block. It is conveniently located just a short walk from shops, bars, restaurants. Bugibba Square is only minutes away by foot, similarly it’s just a short walk to the nearest beach and has very easy access to the Bus Station. Mrs R Hooper August 2012. The apartment is located in a close proximity to the Bugibba bus station from where you can easily travel to any part of the island, close to several pubs, shops and restaurants. The closest beach and the sea are just a few minutes walk. The apartment is well kept and clean.
