If fly-fishing is more your speed you can't do better than the AuSable River. The headwaters of the southern branch of the AuSable begin at Lake St. Helen. Want to hike? Red Pine Natural Area Pathway Trail head is 8 miles North of St. Helen via F-97 and Sunset Road. There is even a sandy beach for the kiddies less than a quarter mile away.

One-half hour from Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Mackinac City and Indian River, Boyne Highlands and Nub's Nob ski resorts.Great Room (26' x 34') with wood burning fireplace, leather sofas, oak dining table and chairs, cathedral ceilings, two story glass windows at either end, and a large, fully equipped kitchen with island seating. Living area with wood fireplace and leather sofas, oak trim. Please bring your bath and beach towels. Sheets, pillows and covers, blankets and comforters, kitchen towels are provided.
