In 1938, the pioneers of Rémigny built the parsonage next to the future site of their church, Saint-Urbain Rémigny.The Catholic Church of Saint-Urbain Rémigny was built between 1941 and 1946 by the parishioners. It was built with pink granite in the style Dom Bello, no columns inside, with a polygonal arc. The concept of the church was created by Adrian Dufresne. This is the only church in the region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue with these characteristics. The stained glass windows adorn the interior are a gift from the residents of Joliette.
