The Queen Anne is located right along the Main Street of Murphys. It is a mere five minutes walk to downtown shopping and wine tasting, yet the guests will enjoy the tranquil, private setting. The Queen Anne sits in a large, fenced compound. The house was originally built in the late 1800s, suffered fire damage and was rebuilt in 1900. It was built for one of the prominent businessman in Murphys. The house was said to be the favorite venue for social gatherings during the time. The Queen Anne has been in our family for well over fifty five years! It wasn't until about three years ago, that we tackled the hard labor of restoring her to the present look. Almost all aspects of the house have been preserved, only replacing the windows for better insulation. All wood are original---over a hundred years old!The house features three very comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms and a very large eat-in kitchen.
