This four star cottage is the most recent addition to New Pallyards having been built in the last 5 years. This cottage occupies only the grounds floor, making it ideal for older people and those who are partially disabled.

Entrance to the cottage is via the courtyard and to the rear are gardens and a patio area. The cottage has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The two bedrooms that lead off from the entrance hall are an en-suite twin and a master bedroom. The family bathroom has a big corner bath.
The Master bedroom consists of a four-poster bed and has a wardrobe and a dressing table, there is also a single bed. The twin bedroom comprises of two single beds. This room is furnished with pine bedroom furniture, and the en-suite bathroom has a shower.Ald Pallyards has a modern well-equipped kitchen with separate hob and oven, microwave and fridge freezer.
The lounge is tastefully decorated. A colour television and DVD stand on a wooden cabinet. This room is comfortable and spacious. The entrance hall is a spacious area with a coat rack on the wall behind the door.

This Vacation Cottage in Flookburgh is cosy, clean and simple with woodburner, exposed beams upstairs and a light airy sunroom overlooking the garden. Located on the Square of the thriving working village of Flookburgh, the property has access to many local amenities as well as footpaths, bridleways and country lanes.This is an ideal base from which to explore South Lakeland’s lesser known beauty. Local attractions include the historic village of Cartmel with horse racing, riding at Bigland, parachuting from Cark airfield and Holker Hall gardens and motor museum which are a short walk away.There is the children’s open farm just down the road and a miniature village. Flookburgh is 'out of the way' but easy to get to by car or train. Cark railway station is but a five minute walk from our front door.The cottage has two large bedrooms. The front bedroom has a double bed and the rear one has a single and a double. Downstairs is the open-plan fully equipped dining kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. In the lounge area there is a TV, with freeview and a radio/cd stereo. There is an attractive woodburner for which we provide an initial basket of logs and kindling, further supplies are available locally.

Bridge End Farm Cottages are 400 year old Grade II Listed Elizabethan barns and farmhouse imaginatively converted to romantic cottages of charm, character and quality with a wealth of original features set in the heart of the Lake District National Park. An idyllic setting in the picturesque village of Boot down our quaint cobbled lane beside a beautiful 17 th Century packhorse bridge over the tumbling Whillan Beck. It is an absolutely stunning location - one of the finest in Britain!
Our cottages sleep 2, 2 + 2, 6, 8 and 9. All cottages are cosy, warm and romantic with full gas central heating, double glazing, ancient oak beams, local pink granite stonework, fully equipped kitchens, period bathrooms and quality furnishings.
Our 7 cottages can accommodate over 30 guests, and have also successfully been used as a base for company team-building events on the fells, and large family reunions. Some cottages have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms and are suitable for those with limited mobility or young children
We have 3 garden areas including a secret walled garden, and a large riverside paddock with picnic spot. Barbecues and ample garden furniture throughout. Private parking with 3 spaces for the Farmhouse and Scafell, 2 spaces for Wastwater and 1 space for each of the other cottages. Additional shared laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryers and payphone. Wi-fi modem located in the laundry room so internet access is better nearer or facing the laundry room.
Other activities close by, there is climbing, abseiling, canoeing, pony trekking, fishing and swimming in hot weather in the numerous rock pools of the River Esk and Whillan Beck. Or simply sit in the garden with your sketch pad - there is beautiful scenery all around waiting to be painted. Bridge End Farm Cottages are in the village of Boot.
