A very well equiped shop is at the end of the drive selling a variety of groceries dvds beer and wine.A few minutes drive to an excellent take away shop, the Mt Maniaia club where a pleasent meal can be enjoyed. approx 10 minute drive to the Pines Golf Club or Ocean Beach where the surf is usually excellent. There is plenty of boat launching facilities around, or the use of our tractor for beach launching. The Whangarei Harbour is a great place to dive or fish, the Hen and Chicken Islands are very easy to access from this location.It takes approx 30 minutes to drive to the centre of town where all manner of shopping and eating can be enjoyed.
