From fishing in the Allyn River or nearby Lockstock Dam to organising a picnic hamper to take to the Barrington Tops National Park. Head off on foot for leisurely walks along the Allyn River and countryside or just hop in your car and experience a drive through the beautiful Allyn Valley. Finally if you have time for a round of golf your choice is between a quaint 9 hole country course or a grand resort championship course within the region.

The paved Centennial walkway from Wharewaka point to Taupo pass the gate, and its an easy walk or cycle to Taupo's many cafe's, bars, and restaurants. Views to die for from the 4 upper floor double bedrooms, they have sarked wooden sloping ceilings, the Childproof upper deck runs completely around house to the large sheltered deck over 2+ car Garage area, and additional 2 car carage under the newly rebuilt lakeside deck.
